21st June Tsavo East Full day Game drive

Tsavo East National Park is one of the largest and oldest parks in Kenya, located in the southeastern part of the country near the town of Voi. Covering an area of approximately 13,747 square kilometers, it is known for its vast, open savannahs, red soil, and sparse vegetation, making it ideal for game viewing.

The park is famous for its "red elephants," which appear reddish due to dust bathing in the park’s iron-rich soil. It is also home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and over 500 species of birds.

The Galana River, which runs through the park, provides a vital water source and scenic beauty, with features like Lugard Falls and crocodile pools. Tsavo East also contains the Yatta Plateau, the world’s longest lava flow. The park has historical significance as well, being the site of the infamous "Man-Eaters of Tsavo" lion attacks during the construction of the Kenya-Uganda Railway in 1898. Its relatively flat terrain and dry climate make it one of the best places in Kenya for spotting wildlife, especially during the dry season.
